Darby Farms is an East Texas based beef cattle farm located near Gilmer, Texas. Cody and Rachelle Darby along with girls, Brynn and Josey, own and manage two hundred beef cows. The cows are bred to registered Black Angus bulls which results in a calf that is at least 1/2 Black Angus. Many of the cows are 1/2 Angus which makes their calves 3/4 Angus. This is the same type of cattle as those in the popular Certified Angus Beef program.
